Aaliyah is a class of 2020 senior graduating from Skyline High School. She is very active in school sports. She is trying out for the varsity volleyball and track teams this year. When she isn’t at practice or a game herself, she supports her school and attends other games. Aaliyah wants to be a physical education teacher when she grows up so being surrounded by sports aligns with her dream job. Although she hasn’t decided what she is going to major in or where she plans to attend. She is optimistic that a dream school will present itself since it is only the beginning of senior year. She also wants to be open minded on where she attends to see which school offers the best program.

Aaliyah’s three places that she would like to visit are New York City, Bahamas, and Germany. Her hope is to celebrate her 18th birthday with a trip to NYC to check that off her bucket list. The Bahamas is an obvious because who doesn’t want to go to a tropical island. I have a love for tropical destinations with a passport ready. Germany is near and dear to my heart and a country I think everyone should visit.

Aaliyah is most excited about everything that senior year has to offer. She is looking forward to the games, homecoming, prom, and the memories with friends!

Aaliyah’s definition of beauty is, “being who god made you to be, not what someone else wants you to be.”
