Jason contacted me back in August to help him capture proposing to his then girlfriend Marijka. We had a video call to discuss. It was apparent he was so excited but also a little nervous that the logistics would work out. We came up with a plan and even a rain plan because you know me. Jason wanted to revisit Muse Vineyards which is where they had one of their first trips together. Jason had already contacted Muse and received their permission and they were on board with the surprise.

Convincing Marijka was also easy. She had just begun Grad school and had mentioned they should do a trip before things got busy with working and going to school. She handed the planning reins to Jason and he ran with it. The weekend plan included a day at the spa to be pampered, which meant Marijka’s nails were perfect for the big moment. They had planned to visit Muse for lunch to enjoy the wine and views and then grab dinner before heading home. So they got all dressed up and headed to Muse unbeknownst to Marijka I was there with hubby and Hadley as a decoy ready to capture the whole thing.

The proposal went flawlessly. Muse helped set up a reserved table with the best views and privacy. They chatted, got engaged and enjoyed wine before we adventured the venue for some “just engaged” photos! Marijka admitted she had no idea and was so surprised. Jason sighed relief that it all went off without a hitch. Now they are planning to visit Muse annually to celebration their engagement. Being a part of their love story was an honor. Let the wedding planning begin for these two!
