Shenandoah Lodge does it again! The perfect backdrop for Allison and Nick’s black tie wedding. These two focused on one another, their family and friends and served up all the personal touches. They wanted to celebrate their love and thank everyone for loving and supporting their relationship. With that in mind, Allison and Nick created a wedding day schedule that allowed for all formal photos to be captured prior to the ceremony. This allowed them to attend their cocktail hour and be present during their reception.
Allison did a first look with her father. She gifted him a photo of them on her father’s motorcycle when she was little that went on the inside of his tie. Allison then did a first look with Nick. Both confirmed that they were less nervous after seeing one another. They exchanged person vows and gifts. Nick gifted Allison a bracelet which was fitting because she didn’t have a bracelet as part of her jewelry. Allison gifted Nick a pendent with a photo of his late father, Kenneth! The thoughtfulness behind all of the gifts brought everyone to tears.
Nick and Allison included Abby, their 12 year old mini labradoodle complete with bows in her hair! She was their flower girl escorted down the aisle by their ring bearer. Abby was also the focal point on the napkins during cocktail hour and the dessert bar. Allison personally made so many special touches of the wedding, from the welcome sign to the seating chart. It was a timeless, elegant event perfect for uniting Allison and Nick. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness!
