Caryn and Peter are always up for an adventure so Skyline Drive was perfect for these two. We started at Big Meadows Lodge and ended with a sunset at Timber Hollow Overlook. These were literally adorable from the beginning and Skyline Drive didn’t disappoint. They giggled when they looked at one another and we laughed throughout their session.

Caryn and Peter met in college at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Their college hosts what’s called Mardi Greens, a Mardi Gras celebration where students gather on the ground greens dressed up in colorful clothing. In 2015, Mardi Greens fell on Valentine’s Day, and one of Caryn’s roommates decided to invite over her friends. One of her friends was Peter a transfer student who had just moved in. They had an instant connection and began officially dates on March 1st.

Their first official date was at Starbucks where they talked for a few hours. They instantly “clicked” as Caryn put it. She mentioned it was super easy for them to communicate. But that she really appreciate Peter’s ability to make the most mundane task into an adventure.

In May of 2019, Peter surprised Caryn with a weekend down at St. Mary’s. They went on a boat ride to Smith Island where they walked around the island for a bit. On their way back from their favorite restaurant, Peter pulled off at The Point, a peninsula on the water, and proposed at sunset!

When these two aren’t being adorable in front of the camera, they are enjoying vineyards, playing board games or creating a new adventure. Caryn and Peter’s dreams for their marriage is to travel Europe/Asia, children and lots of dogs! I can not wait for their wedding this Fall.
