Downtown Woodbridge is where Anne Marie and Stephen spend a lot of time so it was only fitting to have their engagement session there. Plus, it was a bonus that it was decorated for Christmas and was so charming. Anne Marie and Steve met in high school through a mutual friend. Anne Marie’s cousin was Stephen’s bestie and he introduced them. Their first date was to see Inception in 2010 and Anne Marie remembers Stephen bringing flowers. At the end of the summer, Annie Marie went back to college and Steve went into the real world.

They didn’t talk for a few years but then reconnected in 2014 and have been inseparable since. Coffee is ranked number one on both of their must have lists. So Saturday morning walks through the neighborhood to get coffee was a tradition. However, on this particular Saturday morning Stephen had other plans.

Stephen was so nervous, he dropped his whole cup of coffee and had to get a new one! Steve asked Anne Marie, “you know what could really get this day started right?” Anne Marie though he wanted to start drinking, but in a twist he proposed and she said, “Yes!” They celebrated later that day with all of their friends and went to a Nationals game!

Anne Marie and Stephen are getting married at Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal next year and I know it will feel like a high school reunion with all of their friends.
