Shenandoah Valley Golf Club at the end of May last year was breathtaking for Alyssa and Antonio’s wedding. I photographed it alongside Katie of Katie Annie Photography as her second shooter. This was a Sunday wedding and probably one of my first. I actually really enjoyed the vibe of the day. It was slower-paced, calm, and surrounded by so much warmth, I’m all for future Sunday weddings, maybe a brunch wedding.
Even though Shenandoah Valley Golf Club is in Front Royal, we have been there often for different events like the cooking class. It was my first time photographing a wedding here. However, it is one of my favorite types of wedding venues. The kind where the ceremony and reception are all in the same location. It is one less stressor for the vendors and guests to not have to travel between the ceremony and reception.
Additional bonuses are multiple ceremony location options and views for miles for portraits. Above all, the staff is hands down amazing. We had golf carts at our disposal to quickly get from location to location. The food from the chef was impeccable. The staff had a table set up for vendors off to the side complete with bread and water. We were being treated as guests which is such a warm feeling.
As a vendor, we have a small window of opportunity to eat which is ideally when the bride and groom eat. We want to finish eating at the same time as the bride and groom so this service was much appreciated. There is so much to gush over at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club but you will just have to see if it for yourself.
