Lodge at Little Seneca Creek MD

The Lodge at Little Seneca Creek was such a fun new venue for us. It’s nestled in Montgomery County Maryland but so intimate and perfect for these two adventure seekers. Jason and Marijka’s first trip together was to Woodstock, VA in the Shenandoah Valley. On this trip Jason planned a weekend full of adventures to include a surprise proposal in September 2024! He reached out and asked me to capture their proposal and it was so special to be asked to capture their wedding!

For their wedding, they choose The Lodge at Seneca Creek and it felt like we were on an adventure with them on their wedding day. We utilized the view of the 26 acres of wooded park land for their ceremony and cocktail hour. The seclusion, greenery and sunset were epic for these two! To continue the adventure the log cabin with stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings and panoramic views created an intimate family atmosphere.

Jason specializes in event planning so it was so surprise that every detail was thoroughly thought out and executed. There were many totes, each labeled the desired location, contents and purpose! I have never seen this level of execution from the couple, much less the groom without a wedding planner. Since Jason is in events, many of his friends/colleagues were part of the wedding party. These two hands down had the BEST wedding party. They arrived and took a blank canvas room and completely decorated it within a few short hours immaculately. There was a blue binder with layouts, guidance and instructions that the group followed to the letter and transformed the reception space.

These two are so loved and had the best wedding day!
