You may hear, “it’s your day” or “the wedding day is all about the bride.” However, there wouldn’t be a wedding day without your handsome fiance. Your fiance is the one who put that ring on your finger, am I right? The same way the bride and bridesmaids get special attention on the wedding day, the groom should too! The bride gets photos of all of her wedding day details, the cute robes, getting in her dress, and so much more.
Since most couples don’t see one another while getting ready, they don’t see all the nerves and emotions. Wouldn’t you want to know if your groom is nervous? Or what he does leading up to the ceremony? What better way to see than to capture him getting ready too! A second photographer in your wedding collection will help capture moments like Luis’.
As the second photographer for Astrid and Luis’ wedding I spent the morning with Luis and his groomsman. All of the guys were very sweet and excited as they prepared for the ceremony. Luis grinned from ear to ear even though he was nervous. He knew at the end of the day he would be Astrid’s husband!
Luis gifted each of his groomsman a watch, socks, and the cutest customized drink caddie complete with mug. Each watch had to be sized, so links were removed. They all worked so well together to ensure everyone looked their best. Lint rollers were essential. Luis’ best friend helped him get dressed, fixed his bow tie and put his jacket on. Luis even helped his brother and best man get his watch sized and belt on.
These moments before the ceremony are so special. They tell the story of the day. Astrid is able to get a glimpse of what took place before walking down the aisle to her groom. Luis will also get to see his bride as she got ready. Both Astrid and Luis will love these photos for years to come.
