In just a few short weeks Drake and Nicole will be welcoming their beautiful baby girls into the world. I cannot wait to meet and hold these girls. I’m not there every day but I am honored to be a small part of their story. A few months ago, Drake, Nicole and I met for pregnancy announcement photos. They wanted photos to share with friends they were not only expecting but with TWINS! You can see that blog post here.

Nicole hit the 30-week mark, which is a milestone for any pregnancy but even more so when carrying twins. I will admit I was a bit nervous for their maternity photos. First, because there is a higher risk of early delivery since there are two. Secondly, I didn’t know how Nicole would be feeling. Pregnancy is different for everyone. I would be miserable, but Nicole glowed and radiated happiness.

We managed to schedule their maternity session for the middle of unpredictable February, and it was PERFECT! Granted, it was a bit chilly and windy, but you can’t even tell! Plus, we got the most gorgeous sunset, water and stone pathways as requested by the mother-to-be! She might have even brought out the HOTTEST pink heels and killed it!

I asked Drake if he was prepared for fatherhood. His response was along the lines of, “YEAH! We got this. We are just going to take it one baby at a time; feed, change diapers, put back to sleep, and repeat.” Drake and Nicole are the sweetest people I have ever met! They are going to make THE BEST parents. These girls are so very lucky. These babies are blessed with so much love. I can’t wait for the next blog post of squishy cheeks, tiny fingers and toes!
