Christiana and Billy braved the rainy and cloudy day for their gorgeous engagement session! The forecast was hit and miss all weekend with pockets of rain. I made the call, but got nervous on my way over because it poured but then when I got to Blandy Farm it was PERFECT! Thank goodness my gamble of a decision paid off. We got to play with the umbrellas but had such an amazing session!
So October of last year is when Billy took Christiana to his family farm to propose. He took her to the highest point on the family farm that overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains. They sat on the tailgate of his truck and enjoyed a bottled of wine. It was a bottle from the first time Christiana visited Virginia and he took her to Delaplane Winery. Just as the sun set, Billy hopped down, got on one knee and ask her to marry him! She said yes and these two are tying the knot in July!
We are hoping they do not have a rainy wedding day and a beautiful marriage! Christiana has a bucket list trip to Morocco where she will lay on the beach, ride a camel, and buy a rug for their home. But also, cooking, kids, animals, and building a home they love. They’ve already started on the animals with goats! I will see what I can do to get them to bring a goat to their next session!
