The Refinery in Culpeper, Virginia was the second easiest decision for Courtney & Jesse’s wedding. Courtney knew she wanted her wedding there before there was a proposal. I mean every girl grows up dreaming about her wedding. Knowing Courtney, she probably planned, changed some things, created a new plan, and then still made changes. There are probably a handful of mockups of their wedding and it still went better than she could have imagined.
There is something special about Courtney. I met her a few years back and was instantly drawn to her. She has a warm, inviting, caring, and calm personality. She only ever wants the best for the people she cares about. It is evident she gets these traits from her parents and family because they are all so loving. I know Jesse is just the right guy for Courtney because he is the same way. He is caring, calm, loving, and so sweet.
These two animal lovers had the best wedding day full of tears, me included. Courtney and Jesse shared in a first look but also exchanged personal vows with one another. They both knew they wouldn’t have been able to hold back their emotions. Therefore, with their parents to witness, they sang one another’s praises, promised to be by one another’s side to do life together. But in true Courtney fashion, her vows were longer than Jesse’s however short in length, his words were powerful.
March weddings are a huge gamble with the weather. Although the ceremony and reception were held indoors, Courtney had a vision of utilizing the alleyways and buildings. This March day was cold and windy with some snow flurries, but no one can tell because love looks good on these two! Courtney and Jesse’s wedding wouldn’t be complete without a stray puppy found in the parking lot shivering, an amazing color pallet, and florals out of this world! After all only Courtney would design and help in making her own florals amongst the many bridal tasks already on the list.
Courtney and Jesse’s wedding was perfect! The vision was unique but timeless. A modern elegance but with a warm have fun vibe all night long. It was so fun to photograph with all of the details, because nothing was forgotten or missed in the design. Above all an amazing team of vendors helped put it all together. However at the end of the day, these two are finally husband and wife and that is all that matters. Finally, introducing Mr. and Mrs. Landry!
