Stone Tower Winery Leesburg Virginia Wedding

Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Virginia is a must visit winery. Whether it be for a wedding or simply to spend the day. The views and atmosphere is worth the trip. I am so thankful for Candice of Candice Adelle Photography for having me along on so many of her weddings at Stone Tower but more so trusting me to fill her shoes for Allie and Brian’s wedding. One of the things I cherish most about my photography business is the relationships I have formed with others in the industry. Knowing that I can call on them and they can call on me when in need to assist or cover for them is so humbling.

Back in May, Candice had a family emergency and was unable to photograph Allie and Brian’s wedding. However, we chatted, came up with a plan and delivered an amazing experience the day of and these gorgeous images. Allie and Brian unfortunately planned their wedding during the pandemic and had many changes along the way. From getting married on their original wedding date, rescheduling their family celebration, their original vendor team not all being available on their new wedding day and then the photographer swap were all hurdles they experienced.

However, that wasn’t all. It also rained on their wedding day! We worked our magic in between rain drops, shuffled the schedule to align with the forecast and even brought out the clear umbrellas. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches and Allie and Brian did just that. Thanks to the amazing vendor team they had, the day went off without a hitch even with Mother Nature.
