The rain held off for all of the important moments for Ashley and Zach’s wedding at Skyline Ranch Resort. All week the weather forecast wasn’t promising, however even with low hanging clouds and some sprinkles, the day was perfect! When I arrived at Ashley’s chalet, she and her bridesmaids were all giggling and laughing. The friendship with many stories among them is apparent. The bridesmaids shared of past times and embarrassing moments.

Zach has a passion for guitars which you can see from his cuff links. Therefore, it would only be fitting he and his groomsman were playing the guitar to ease the nerves prior to the ceremony. Ashley told me that Zach can listen to a song and then sit in a room play it without any sheet music. She added that most of the time it sounds amazing. Zach likes to pretend he didn’t want to be the center of attention but I beg to differ. He struck poses more than once throughout the day and looked dapper doing it.

Ashley and Zach had an eagerness to get married. Both of them were ahead of schedule, ALL DAY! Ashley asked her bridesmaids to put their dresses on at 11 when they didn’t need to be dressed for another 2 hours. She was just ready to get the show on the road, which it did. The fireplace at Skyline Ranch Resort is a beautiful country backdrop for ceremonies on rainy days so it didn’t take away from the joy of the ceremony. Ashley and Zach were surrounded by their closets friends and family as they exchanged, “I do’s.” These two practically skipped down the aisle once announced as Mr. and Mrs. Hick’s because being married is what they were most excited about.

My goal was to capture the love these two have for one another. Their personalities that blend so well together. Above all, it was an honor to capture their beautiful wedding day!
