Last May I visited Mountain Branch Golf Course for Annie and Brian’s wedding with Stefanie of Stefanie Kamerman Photography. She and I were helping a dear friend out who had a medical emergency and was unable to photograph their wedding. This is another example of why you should hire a professional photographer. As a professional photographer, I have a network of amazingly talented friends/photographers who can jump in for me at a moment’s notice.
You never know when a medical or family emergency will arise. You want to ensure you have back-ups who can serve the couple and deliver an amazing experience with top-notch photos. It isn’t an ideal situation but providing a secure backup plan to the couple is so much better than leaving them without a photographer days before their wedding.
We started the day at a hotel and as we got closer, I realized it all looked very familiar. Just a few short months before I was there with my mom for her knee replacement surgery. Above all, it felt great knowing that my mom is fully recovered from her surgery and I was back in the same area for a different reason. Annie and Brian exchanged vows on the lawn overlooking the golf course with a gorgeous floral arch. After cocktail hour, Annie and Brian were welcomed into the reception. Their first dance is one of my favorites to date. The connection, looks, and smiles they gave one another is one I will never forget. They danced to Falling Like the Stars, by James Arthur.
A second favorite part of Annie and Brian’s wedding was the reception. Once the DJ opened the dance floor, everyone and I mean everyone got up from their seats. There were dances and moves I had never seen before. If the dance moves look familiar to you, let me know what they are. It was clear to see that everyone they had with them will remember this day for all of the fun, laughter, and love brought by Annie and Brian.
