Cross Keys Barn Virginia Wedding

Cross Keys Barn in Harrisonburg Virginia was the perfect venue for Chelsey and Andrew’s intimate wedding. Surrounded by their family on the most perfect May day, these two were married! The temperature was mild, slight breeze and overcast. You couldn’t ask for a better day! Nonetheless, all of the details were hand selected and crafted. Personalized cuff links Chelsey selected for Andrew. In addition, Chelsey hand dyed each wooden flower to ensure it matched the wedding colors. The wedding colors were seamless throughout, all the way down to Chelsey’s Birkenstock shoes. Clearly, this is a bride after my heart, I love Birkenstocks!

These two exchanged letters to one another and then shared in a private intimate first look. Then, we were able to capture so many monumental photos prior to the ceremony. We captured, bride and groom photos, wedding party, and family portraits prior to the ceremony. Chelsey and Andrew made this choice to allow for time together after the ceremony. Above all, they could spend time with their friends and family during cocktail hour.

Chelsey and Andrew’s pup Aspen, was their ring bearer with a leather custom ring pouch on his collar. Aspen’s litter sibling Indigo was the flower girl with a flower crown and leash! Aspen and Indigo made such an entrance down the aisle. They shared in personal vows officiated by a family member who has known these two their entire relationship. Without a doubt, everything was seamless, there was no detail left out. It was a truly a magical day!
