Lauren & Andy’s wedding at 6 Pastures Farm was the perfect way to close out my 2025 wedding season! These two shared so many special moments throughout their day which simply shows their heart. Couples that are “untraditional” and do things their own way are my people! Lauren and Andy’s wedding morning started off quiet with them sharing breakfast and coffee together. They exchanged their vows and were married by Andy’s dad. They were officially married when Andy’s dad witnessed them signing their marriage license. It was the perfect slow way to start their wedding day morning.
Lauren and Andy held space for so many special people. Lauren had Converses custom embroidered to match her bouquet. She had another pair embroidered for her mom to match her mom’s dress and surprised her with them. These two were very comfortable all day log and so adorable! Lauren had a first look with the first man in her life, her dad! He held back the tears but truly appreciated the moment with his daughter.
Andy made his wedding band from the engine of his grandmas car. He sanded down an engine piece into a smooth ring that he was married with and signifies his marriage to Lauren. While also holding a special place in his heart of his grandma daily as he wears his ring. The fact that Andy’s wedding ring was from an engine doesn’t surprise me, he is a wizard under the hood of a vehicle. He built a Jeep from the ground up himself. While Lauren has a newer Jeep that they enjoy taking on adventures.
This all ties to Lauren and Andy’s flower people. They included some of their best friends into the wedding by appointing them flower people. But they took it a step further and told them they could make their processional their own. So what better way to celebrate these two Jeep lovers than to hand out bride and groom rubber ducks, Jeep Ducking – “You’ve Been Ducked! The only thing missing was the actual Jeep at 6 Pastures Farm for photos, maybe a future anniversary session!
The dance floor was packed the entire night with the help of a coffee bar. They offered espressos and hot chocolate to give everyone a caffeine boost. Then a sugar high was available from an ice cream truck. Lauren and Andy’s wedding was truly one for the books and so many firsts and hopefully more include some of the same touches like the ice cream and coffee!
