So your a few weeks out from starting back to school and it’s your senior year….yikes! It is going to be the best year of your life and you have so much to look forward too, homecoming, Friday night football games, prom, college applications, graduation and so much more. Well don’t worry yourself sick becuase all of that will happen and it will be the most amazing time of your life. Your probably asking yourself, when do I get senior portraits done? That decision is up to you and what time of year you want to take your photos. Now is the time to schedule photos in the summer with greenery, flowers, and warm weather because next summer you will have already graduated…scary, I know, let’s not think about that too much. If you are wanting to do Fall photos with the leaves changing, contact me now to get put on the calendar because the last few months of the year are crazy busy with the holidays, my birthday, and families birthdays. I am already booking dates in September, October, and November so to ensure your spot, now is the time to call. The last option is Spring time next year where things are just starting to warm up but everything is coming back to life. That is not to say that we can’t do a Winter session but they aren’t typical, but I am up for anything.
Now that you know the three timeframes your asking yourself, who do I contact? That’s easy, ME! I love getting to know my clients and working together to create the ideal photo session with location, hair, make-up, outfits, and posing that best matches your personality. Your the driver and I am the passenger taking your lead and giving you directions when you need it. I like to get together with my clients for a consultation to discuss your ideas, prcing and answer any questions you have with a parent. We chat over coffee or a smoothie for 30 minutes to an hour and figure out what works for you! We schedule a date and start planning your photo shoot!
The day of the shoot, we meet with Melissa, our hair and make-up artist for about an hour. She is amazing, so kind and friendly. She will highlight your beauty and give you the super model look to match your awesome personality. At the shoot, we have fun and laugh, we act crazy and wonder around to find different nooks and crannies to capture a variety of images. After the shoot, I take the images home and do some touch-ups and contact you when I am ready for your viewing appointment. We schedule a date to get together and I showcase your images on a big screen TV for everyone to see! We go through the images and you select which images you want and what product (canvas’, prints, metal prints, albums, etc). We discuss graduation annoucenments and other items we could do to personalize your graudation party in the Spring.
The fun doesn’t stop there though! After having your photos done with FFP, you will be added to a Facebook Group called FFP Models where I will post session ideas and you can volunteer to participate in the shoot with the option to purchase products from the shoot. They are fun and creative shoots that I do here and there. I always love hearing ideas and having help put tgoether these creative shoots so if your interested in that contact me!
