Manassas National Park at Stone Bridge was the perfect woodsy location that holds a special place in their heart. It is where both Brittany and Dillon grew up. Plus it allowed for them to bring their pup. Boone who stole the show. Brittany and Dillon met in 8th grade Middle School back in 2006. They had classes and lunch together. They officially had their first date in 2009 and celebrate their dating anniversary on April 4th, 2010!
Brittany and Dillon grew up with one another through high school. Brittany said she has known that Dillon is the one deep down for a while. But it was obvious when he gifted her a puppy for Valentine’s Day. I guess puppy’s are the way to a girl’s heart!
In September of this year, Brittany and Dillon went on a trip to the Dominican Republic with their families. On the fourth day of their stay at the resort they decided to do family photos. Brittany’s best friend walked her to the pier where all of her family and friends were to what she thought was the photo session. The photographer took photos of other couples and then it was Brittany and Dillon’s turn. Brittany recalls the sunset being beautiful and her dress blowing in the wind.
Dillon turned Brittany around was obviously nervous. However he looked Brittany straight in her eyes and gave his speech. He got down on one knee to ask Brittany to spend the rest of her life with him. Meanwhile, Brittany started crying as soon as she was turned around and said YES!
When these two aren’t being amazing models for their engagement photos they are watching movies. Dillon enjoys actions movies whereas Brittany enjoys romance movies. They both have a desire to travel and have Europe on the list, specifically Netherlands, Ireland, Paris and Greece. I can’t wait for their wedding at Faithbrooke Barn and Vineyards next September!
