The Inn at Little Washington is GORGEOUS! A small town with no cell phone service, great for romantic engagement photos of Brandon and Kayla. Would you believe that these two met in MIDDLE SCHOOL? Yes, middle school, they were practically babies! Kayla had the biggest (cringy < her words) middle school crush on Brandon. They played basketball together, always rode the same bus and saw each other at games. These two started officially dating when Kayla was in 8th grade and Brandon was in 9th. They grabbed pizza for their first date and watched movies. Brandon only ate one bite of his pizza and come to find out months later, he hated pepperonis!
Kayla recalls knowing that Brandon was the one when she went to college because they stayed so strong. Now, Kayla a school counselor/teacher and Brandon a directional driller which means he puts in power lines underground. They recently built and moved into their brand new home with their pups. Kayla recalls washing the dishes one afternoon when Brandon came over and hugged her quickly. Brandon started talking about how amazing it was that they had their own place now. How this house was the place they could start their life and grow together. Kayla became emotional and confused because she wasn’t sure what was happening. Brandon hugged her again and Kayla could feel his heart beating out of his chest and she immediately knew. Brandon backed up and got down on one knee to ask for her hand and she said YES!
To make it even more perfect, the proposal happened on Super Bowl Sunday and these two love football! They love to watch sports and are fans of all sports, especially football. Every Sunday, they go to church and then get coffee from Patty O’s near the Inn at Little Washington. It’s no surprise that if Brandon could go on any a date anywhere with Kayla, it would be to the Super Bowl. When these two aren’t modeling for photos you can find them cuddled up on the couch with their dogs watching movies, my kind of people.
