Faithbrooke Barn Luray VA Wedding

Faithbrooke Barn in Luray was perfect for Alex and Justin’s September wedding! Every detail was planned based on Alex and Justin’s priorities. Coupled with Alex, who read the Franzi Lee Bridal Guide from front to back and back to front. She not only read the guide but she implemented the guidance throughout her wedding day. In addition, she and I worked together to construct a photography timeline that was stress free and focused on them! Above all, spending time with their friends and family was their priority.

Some of my favorite things Alex and Justin did on their wedding day were; first, she provided a ring box and ribbon for details photos that matched her aesthetic. Second, she did first looks with her grandmas, mother-in-law [first time I have ever done this and it was so sweet], and with her groom. These small amounts of time truly slowed the day down and allowed them to enjoy these very special moments. It also means the world to those in your family because you are making them more of a part of your day. Lastly, Alex and Justin opted for family portraits before the ceremony so they could enjoy cocktail hour into the reception.

I am very confident that Justin was getting emotional during his first look. I also love that Alex got ready at her grandmas house and allowed time for portraits in front of the tree house her grandfather built. Their wedding day was timeless, elegant, and understated. The entire day was executed as planned, on time with so much intentionality despite some rain sprinkles. Above all, It could not have been a better day for these two.
