Rockland Park for Alex and Justin’s engagement session was perfect. It fit their style, outfit choices and their pups! Alex and Justin have known each other since high school. They didn’t date in high school and weren’t super fond of one another, or at least that is how Alex recalls it. It wasn’t until after high school when a mutual friend invited them both over. This is when they realized the other wasn’t so bad after all and they became friends.
The friendship continued while Alex was working at a local hot spot, Spelunkers that they started to take notice of one another. It wasn’t long before they were chatting it up and planned a date. One date turned into many and these two were inseparable. Justin asked Alex to be his girlfriend on a trip to Chapel Hill UNC for her birthday.
Justin then moved in with Alex. He continued to tinker with cars while Alex decorated and redecorated everything until she got it just right. They eventually sold that home after Alex got it just right. But they purchased a new build together where they both continue to tinker and redecorate!
In January 2021, they took another trip to North Carolina for their anniversary. Alex planned to have photos taken to capture this milestone and Justin used it to his advantage. He popped the question toward the end of the session much to Alex’s surprise and she said yes!
Now, if you know Alex, she has always said that she wouldn’t get married and she said yes to Justin’s proposal. Alex alway said she wouldn’t have a big wedding however she is planning a bigger wedding than she imagined. I think the moral of the story is that Justin brings the good out in Alex. He pushes her out of her comfort zone for the best of things. I can’t wait for their wedding next year, these two are a powerhouse together!
