You know those friends of the family that are like family that you grew up with? They are the ones that have the embarrassing photos of you. The ones with the worst hair or awkward outfit. This describes JohnAllen and the Wrens. They are friends of the family of many years and we have grown up together. I met JohnAllen and his family when he and my oldest brother were in Cub Scouts. It has been many years since those Cub Scout days and now he is all grown up. Which is still hard to believe because that means that I am older too. Johnallen met a wonderful girl who compliments him and they are getting married.
The North Warren Volunteer Fire & Rescue was gracious to allow us to use their firehouse for their engagement photos. The firehouse offered their services and equipment to make these engagement photos unique and personal. The brotherhood and closeness of a firehouse as always amazed me. I guess it’s only fitting since you work in burning building together and long shifts that you would be close. We utilized so many pieces of machinery, from the ambulance to the ladder truck. JohnAllen is such a character and always making us laugh. I know he will keep Brittany laughing for years to come! I am so honored to not only witness their marriage but to photograph it.
