Romantic Wedding Anniversary Chester Gap VA

Meghan and Jason celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary with a stay in Chester Gap at an adorable AirBnB, The Nest. These two met in 2005 at a pool hall in Dupont Circle. Meghan had just moved to DC and Jason had just moved to Baltimore so they could both attend grad school. Neither one of them expected to meet anyone on this particular night. After enjoying his time with Megan, Jason reached out to Meghan the next day and invited her to a BBQ at a friends house. As fate would have it the location of the BBQ was right across the street from Meghan’s house! It was as if they were meant to cross each other’s path.

Meghan and Jason visited Boston as their first trip together just a few months after they began dating. On this very trip is when they first exchanged “I Love You’s.” Years later when Jason surprised Meghan with a weekend trip. Meghan had an inkling of what was to come when Boston was listed at the terminal when they arrived at the airport. Jason and Meghan walked through the courtyard of the Old North Church where Jason proposed and Meghan said yes! She swore she would remember exactly what he had said but promptly forgot!

Jason and Meghan married on March 12th in 2011 at the Darden School on Business on UVA Campus. They have been sharing in adventures ever since! Meghan and Jason have traveled to Paris twice and long to go back. Which is why I think we clicked so well! They not only love to travel but travel well together!

Meghan’s ideal no restrictions date with Jason would consist of renting a yacht in the Mediterranean. They would have a combination of lounging all day and water sports. Then close out the evening with a chef make an amazing dinner on board. They would enjoy dinner while watching the sunset and star gaze at night. Jason’s ideal date would be to walk Paris and Italy all afternoon. They would stop at cafes having drinks and snacks with some shopping.

After 10 years of marriage and a total of 16 years together these two have learned so much about one another and each have been shaped by the love, support and connection they share. They cannot wait to see where the next 10 years of marriage will take them. I am so glad we connected for these romantic 10-year wedding anniversary photos!
