She’s genuine, caring and very very patient!! I was especially blown away by how well she worked with our wedding team. She worked along side a videographer she never worked with before and it was so seamless and beautiful that you’d think they have worked together!! Franzi shares so much information about what to expect during your shoot. & During the shoot, you could not feel more comfortable with this Saint of a Woman! Her skills are beyond what one would expect and if you are nervous, she will assist you with posing & instruct you, along with making you laugh throughout the day! Her work is 100% a form of art, you will be IN LOVE when you promptly receive your photo gallery! 10/10 would recommend to my families, friends, and any local businesses in need of professional photography.

Where do I even begin with telling y’all how phenomenal Franzi is & why you need to book her. As soon as we booked our venue in March of 2021 I reached out to FLP for our wedding. You get so much more than just a photographer with Franzi. She quickly became a close friend & a part time wedding planner! I could not have gotten through the wedding planning process without her. Her knowledge and expertise was so helpful. Every bride deserves her as their wedding photographer. She worked seamlessly with all my vendors the day of to ensure we stayed on schedule. I happened to come across Franzi through a friend and fell in love with her photos online. When we reached out to her, her customer service was phenomenal! She returned emails in a timely manner and went out of her way to schedule phone calls with us to capture exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Our practice engagement session was remarkable. It made both of us feel comfortable and to know what to expect on our wedding day. Franzi was there for us throughout our whole wedding process. On our actual wedding day, Franzi was incredible. All of our photos looked natural and perfect (she was even willing to stay past her time to photograph our exit at the end of the night!) There aren't enough positive things to say about Franzi. She is truly amazing and so fun to work with. My husband and I reached out to Franzi to do our wedding pictures after we saw her incredible work she did for my cousin's senior pictures. We met Franzi and right off the bat it felt like we knew each other for years. She is so personable and friendly, which makes it easy to be in front of the camera.
When we did our engagement session last year I was so nervous because I have never been in front of the camera like that before, but Franzi made the entire shoot so easy and fun (even on a 100 degree day)! She is the consummate professional, always prepared and ready for any untimely hair issue or bout of dehydration!
From the beginning she created a timeline for our wedding day, her rough idea on how our day was going to go and made changes when needed. I LOVE organization, so her constant communication and timelines were a blessing!
On our wedding day Franzi arrived to my hotel room a little earlier than expected (which I appreciate) but before starting to shoot my detail shots, she made sure I was doing okay, that I had been eating and drinking and asked if there was anything I needed. She is so kind and selfless and made sure the day was all about me and my husband and ensured everything ran as smooth as possible.
We have since gotten a handful of our wedding pictures back and all we can say is "WOW!". They are absolutely stunning and turned out better than I ever imagined. I keep finding myself going to our gallery and the blog she posted and just staring at all the gorgeous shots she captured. She has a true talent that not many people possess. Franzi was in constant contact with our other vendors as well and I can report from them she is a delight to work with as well! I would highly recommend Franzi Lee Photography to anyone and everyone who is looking for a photographer. It was a pleasure to work with her.

“We Had to Book Her!”
Franzi is amazing! My (now) husband and I were sold when we met her at our mutual friend's wedding, and knew we had to book her. She's incredibly skilled at taking photos and delivers on her estimates for the finished photos. Her sneak peeks for engagement and wedding photos are released within 2 days of the photo shoot, and leaves you feeling super excited for the rest of the album to be finished! Franzi has a vision and makes it happen, from sweet couple photos to sunset portraits, even dogs walking down the aisle. She's also fantastic with coming up with a timeline for photos and sticking to it. I absolutely recommend Franzi!

“Made Our Day So Easy And Carefree”
Choosing vendors, photographers, videographers, etc. can be challenging given the never ending number of options available to couples. Fortunately, our experience was as easy as they come.
We met Franzi based on a recommendation from our wedding planner. As soon as we had our introductory session we knew she was exactly who we wanted to be helping capture our wedding day. We got along instantly, almost as if we had been friends for a long time.
Franzi met us in Charlottesville for our engagement photo shoot and did a fantastic job working with us through different poses, etc. This is what she likes to call the 'training' session. Everyone has a chance to learn some basic poses and can get comfortable so that you're ready for the big day. I can confidently say after going through this we were much more relaxed going into the wedding day.
From there, Franzi made herself available to us throughout the wedding planning process providing her professional opinion, and helping us to understand the pros and cons. Everything from general flow to small details was on the table. She even includes a book with a ton of thought starters for brides. HUGE BONUS if you ask us. But wait, it gets better - her responsiveness is stellar and her feedback is completely genuine. Don't be afraid to ask even the silliest of questions!
The wedding day arrived and without Franzi and Ashley things would have likely felt much more chaotic. To quote my wife: "You definitely outdid yourself – the photos are absolutely STUNNING!!! We are so incredibly happy with them and can’t thank you enough. You truly made our day so easy and carefree, not to mention fun!!"
Needless to say, we are so happy we chose Franzi to help us capture each and every moment on our special day and we're looking forward to finding additional moments for her to capture in the years to come.

My experience as a Franzi Lee Bride was beyond amazing. From the moment we talked the very first time, I knew then that I wanted her to capture our special day.
Our engagement pictures were absolutly amazing and when we saw the first sneak peak all we could say was we cant wait to see the whole album and how the wedding photos are going to take place. During the whole process it was relaxed and fun going. Franzi is super easy to talk to and does not mind the thousands of emails I have sent her and in the past few months with just silly questions.
The wedding day was a breeze. We stuck to the timeline and was even ahead by like alot! Franzi made sure to capture every special aspect of the wedding day and even though it rained a little bit you can not tell with the amazing job she did on the photos.
