I present to you the Hodges Family Portraits!

A few weeks ago Shannon a fellow photographer, who I second shoot weddings with asked me to photograph her beautiful family. I was so excited and couldn’t wait. Our schedules didn’t all align because of the busy Fall photography season of sessions until two weeks ago when we met at the Virginia Arboretum to catch the beautiful sunset glow. This wasn’t a typical family session, I did lots of walking around, because why would a photographer have an easy child to photograph?! You would think Carter would be used to having a camera around all the time taking photos of his handsomeness but he wasn’t having it this particular evening and I chased him all over. He fought be the whole way but I still think we got some good shots of this family of three soon to be four!

Yup, that’s right! The Hodges Family is expecting a little baby boy and Carter is going to be a big brother! I can’t imagine Shannon running after two little boys but I know her and Ryan are up for the challenge and if this little boy is anything like Carter, they are going to have two lady killers with those gorgeous faces.
